Mrs. Bessie Van Giesen, 67, of Rifton, died Wednesday, June 1. A widow of Meritt Van Giesen, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Hung of Rifton, and Mrs. Dominick Ausanio of Kingston, a son, Earl L. Van Giesen of Flatbush, and a brother, Robert Shipman of Florida.
Also surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Harry Williams, Glasco, Mrs. Walter Wood of Flatbush, Mrs. Chester Myers of Glasco, and the Misses Elsie and Mabel Shipman both of Kingston. Also seven grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held from the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home, 27 Smith Avenue, on Saturday, June 4, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Montrepose Cemetery.
