Bauer, Noah Claude, son of Jacob and Elizabeth Bauer, was born in Nappanee, Ind., Oct. 20, 1894; died at Harper, Kan., July 2, 1975; aged 80 y. On May 8, 1920, he was married to Sylvia Plank, who preceded him in death on Dec. 22, 1959. On Jan. 15, 1961, he was married to Hope Allison, who survives. Also surviving are 3 children (Lyle, Jane - Mrs. Levi Eck, and Norman), 3 grandchildren, 3 sisters (Ida - Mrs. Joe Bare, Martha - Mrs. Herman Zielke, and Florence Cox), and one brother (John). He was a member of the Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held at the Elliott-Brownell-Wiley Chapel, Harper, Kan., in charge of Robert Zehr and Harry Jennings; interment in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
