Venice Nelson Bradford Hagge, 97, passed away peacefully May 5, 2012 at the Stoney Brook Assisted Living of causes incident of age.

She was born November 19, 1914 to David A Nelson and Esther Daisy Stone in Chapin, Idaho.

She married Charles Russell Bradford in Salt Lake City on May 31, 1933. To this marriage 4 special children were born; Ted R. Bradford, Jerry D. Bradford, Carolyn Morgan and Robert G. Bradford. They were later divorced.

On June 20, 1960 she married Clarence S. Hagge in Pocatello, Idaho. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1982.

She was known especially for her many quilts and crafts. She also grew many lovely flowers in her garden; of which she was especially proud. She also was a great cook.

She worked in many business' in the Ogden area, including Boyle's Furniture, Ogden R.R. Laundry, Nadine and Gateway Dist. To name a few.

Venice was the last surviving member of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; her sister, Irene Rush and brothers, William, Evan, Reed, Grant and Gordon Nelson; her son, Ted R. Bradford and daughter, Carolyn Morgan. She is survived by her sons, Jerry D. Bradford of Plain City and Robert G. Bradford of Walker, Louisiana; 19 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

We wish to thank all the special girls at Stoney Brook for their tender-loving care and Susan and Ericka at Life Path Hospice.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. The family will greet friends prior from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd.
