She loved going to the dollar store and would wait until there were people nearby and say, "Missy, how much is this?" and I would answer, "A dollar, Momma." She'd answer back with, "Only a dollar?!" and so on. She would make the people start smiling and laughing. It was a regular routine. After she died, I was standing in the dollar store in the aisle directly in front of the door, and was looking in that direction. A large car pulled into the space and a large man got out who looked like a professional football player, came in the store and walked straight down the aisle and stopped about 8 feet away from me. I held my breath and was looking out of the corner of my eye. He looked at the items on the shelf, picked one up, turned to me, and said, "How much is this?" I answered, "Only a dollar." And he replied with surprise, "Everything is only a dollar?!" I wanted to grab hold of him and hug him and cry out Momma. I believe she came back to me. It couldn't have happened for any other reason.
