Adolph Joseph Griffin, Sr.,78, died Monday following an apparent heart attack. Services will be announced by Williams Funeral Home of Milledgeville.
Mr. Griffin was a native of Washington County but had made his home in Milledgeville for a number of years. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Katie Durden Griffin of Milledgeville; four daughters, Mrs. Louise Martin of Columbus, Mrs. Lorell Fionda of Warner Robbins. Mrs. JoAnn Johnson and Eloise Griffin of Milledgeville; two sons, Adolph Griffin,Jr. and Bobby Griffin of Milledgeville; one sister Mary Griffin of Milledgeville; four brothers, Mel Griffin and Roy Griffin of Milledgeville, Durward Griffin of Macon and Ralph Griffin of Florida.
