Funeral services for Alex Dillon Brooks, 80, were held in Knowles Chapel Methodist Church in Hancock County last Friday with burial following in the church cemetery.
The Rev. Roy G. Todd and the Rev. Chester L. Weatherford officiated.
Mr. Brooks died March 26 in the Baldwin County Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maggie Johnson Brooks, of Milledgeville; five sons, Lonnie Brooks, of Milledgeville; Matthew J. Brooks, of Huntington, W. Va.; Hubert Brooks, of Toledo, Ohio; Lindsey Brooks, of Columbia, S.C.; Walter Brooks, of Gray, Ga. four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Bagwell, Mrs. Johnnie Batchelor, Mrs. Ethel Kitchens all of Milledgeville, and Mrs, James Marshall, of Tucker, Ga. brother, Horace Brooks, of Milledgeville.
