He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maggie Johnson Brooks, of Milledgeville; five sons, Lonnie Brooks, of Milledgeville; Matthew J. Brooks, of Huntington, W. Va.; Hubert Brooks, of Toledo, Ohio; Lindsey Brooks, of Columbia, S.C.; Walter Brooks, of Gray, Ga. four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Bagwell, Mrs. Johnnie Batchelor, Mrs. Ethel Kitchens all of Milledgeville, and Mrs, James Marshall, of Tucker, Ga. brother, Horace Brooks, of Milledgeville.
