Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Knowles Chapel Methodist Church in Hancock County. The Rev. Dick North and James Braddy will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Brooks, a native of Hancock County, had lived in Baldwin County most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Sinclair Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Jane Marshall of Summerville, Ala., and Myrtle Bagwell, Johnnie Batchelor and Ethel Kitchens, all of Milledgeville; five sons, Hubert Brooks of Deltona, Fla., Linsay Brooks of Santee, S.C., and Walter Brooks, Alex Rider and William, all of Milledgeville; a sister, Fione Roberts of Dublin; and 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
The body will be at the church at 1 p.m. Thursday.
Williams Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
