Donald A. Gordon, 63, of 105 McKinley St, died at 5:30 a.m. today at Murphy Medical Center where he had been a patient for one month. He had been ill since October 1971.
General construction supervisor for United Telephone Co. for 30 years, Mr. Gordon was born Feb. 28, 1909 at Grant Park, Ill., to Luther R. and Ada (Hendricks) Gordon and had lived most of his life in Kosciusko Co. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
On Dec. 2, 1931 he was united in marriage at South Bend to the former Clara Ponder who survives.
In addition to his widow he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Austin (Patty) Hauth, Warsaw, Mrs. James (Phyllis) Light, Indianapolis, Mrs. Donna Vogt, Chicago, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Russell, (Helen) Jester, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Mrs. Velma Winegardner, Mrs. Howard (Lucille) Saylor, both of Burnettsville, Ind.; six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Titus Funeral Home with the Rev. V. Darrell Byers officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
