Virginia A. Phillips, age 93, of Morley, MO passed away at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO on Saturday, November 15, 2014.
She was born on March 3, 1921, in Chaffee, MO, to the late Sylvester and Anna Elizabeth Owens Matthews.
Virginia retired as a manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield in St. Louis, MO then moved back to Morley in 1987 where she attended Morley Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son, Richard (Kay) Evans of Hawpoint, MO; one daughter, Elizabeth Anne (Gary) Pobst of Oran, MO; raised a granddaughter, Michele Ferguson of Morley, MO; two sisters, Christine Unnerstall of Chubbuck, IN, Edith (Jim) Lansmon of Cape Girardeau, MO; nine grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren and sixteen great- great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, John; a daughter, Sherry; a grandson, Jeff; a great-great grandson, Lance; ten brothers and sisters.

Burial will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, MO.
