Pioneer of Custer County 1879

Myra Amsberry was born in Mason County, West Virginia, November 21, 1862 and departed this life March 3, 1930, aged 67 years, 3 months and 10 days.
In 1883 she removed with her parents to Mason City, Nebraska and was united in marriage to Charles Amsberry on September 23, 1886. To this union were born ten children, three of whom preceded her at infancy. A loving wife and devoted mother.
She leaves to mourn her loss a loving husband, Charles Amsberry, three sons; T.C. Amsberry of Seneca, Nebraska, Delmar Amsberry of Missoula, Montana, Earl Amsberry of Broken Bow, Nebraska; four daughters; Mrs. Frank Armstrong of Broken Bow, Nebraska, Mrs. Ellis Zeller of Broken Bow, Nebraska, Mrs. Harold Johnson of Lincoln, Nebraska and Mrs. Fred Russom of Broken Bow, Nebraska; ten grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
She was a member of the Broken Bow Baptist Church. Services were held at the Ansley Baptist Church, Wednesday, March 5th by Rev. A.C. Downing and interment made in Ansley Cemetery.
