Liebenthal -- Margaret Schuckman, 89, died Thursday at Good Samaritan Home, Hays.

Born Nov. 18, 1886 at Liebenthal, she was married to Anton Schuckman, Oct. 11, 1904 at Liebenthal. He died Oct. 14, 1972.

She was a lifetime resident here. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Liebenthal.

Survivors are sons, Leonard, Hays, Mike, Brownell, Alphons, Wichita, Vincent A., Liebenthal, Rudolph, La Crosse; daughters, Sister Frances Emerita and Sister Agnes Rudolpha, both of Wichita, Sister Loretta Victoria, Oklahoma City; brother, John Legleiter, La Crosse; sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Berens, Pfeifer; 15 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be 7:30 p.m. Friday at Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church with Father Birzer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
