Mrs. Carrie M. Lindsey, 68, of 1216 Otter St., died at 12:30 am Friday in Franklin Hospital. She was born in New Bethlehem, Clarion County, on Nov. 3, 1902, daughter of George W. and Minnie Bowersox Beer.

For many years she was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church.

On March 24, 1923, in Franklin she married Floyd L. Lindsey, who survives, with two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Esther) Sutley of Utica, and Mrs. Isaac (Lucy) Brink, Sarasota, FL; a son, Floyd L. Lindsey Jr. of Franklin; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, William Beer of Distant, PA; seven sisters, Mrs. William (Anna) Beers, Mrs. Amos (Margaret) Umstead, both of Franklin, Mrs. Lloyd (Mabel) Shillings, Distant, Mrs. Clayton (Cora) Davis, Cleveland, OH, Mrs. James (Catherine) Fultz, Tarentum, Mrs. Leroy (Helen) Collins, New Bethlehem, Mrs. Darrel (Ida) Crawford, Oak Ridge. Deceased are one son, George V. Lindsey, and three brothers.

Services will be at Leverne L. Burger Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Price, pastor of the Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
