George Wilson Veasey, 72, formerly of Phenix City, died Saturday at Bryce Hospital at Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Funeral will be 4 p.m. today at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Mr. Veasey was born July 26, 1898, in Russell County, Ala., a son of the late Jack and Josephine Jewel Veasey. He was a member of the Epworth Methodist Church.
