The rites were conducted by the Rev. Bernard Henry and burial was in West View Cemetery.
A native of Baldwin County, Mr. Harrington had spent his entire life in the community. He owned and operated a service station and store in West End.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Winston Harrington and Milton Harrington of Milledgeville; two daughters, Miss Laura Harrington, Milledgeville, and Mrs. W.B. O'Quinn of Deepstep; seven grandchildren; seven brothers,G.T. Harrington, M.C. Harrington, H.D. Harrington and W.M. Harrington of Milledgeville, Guy Harrington, Miller Harrington and Perrin Harrington of Macon. two step-brothers, Charlie Pennington and Irby Pennington of Milledgeville; three step-sisters, Mrs. Clara McDade, Milledgeville, Mrs. B.Y. Herrin of Summerville, S.C., and Mrs. Robert Hartin of Memphis, Tenn.
