Georgia L. "Linda" Coe, 80, 225 Gemini Drive, died at home Sunday, July 25, 1999, at 5:15 a.m. She had been ill three months.
Born Sept. 17, 1918, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., She was the daughter of Talmage M. and Bertha E. (Shively) Clayton.
On June 7, 1975, she was married to Paul M. Coe and he survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Gail Ann) Abbott of Sidney; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edna R. May of Port Jefferson, and Elizabeth J. Willoughby of Tipp City; four brothers, James T. Clayton of Venice, Fla., Kenneth L. Clayton of Quincy, Robert P. Clayton of Orlando, Fla., and Rev. Dennis L. Clayton of Cleveland.
A daughter and brother procceded her in death.
Mrs. Coe was of the Lutheran Faith. She was a homemaker.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Cromes Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Wilson Hospice Care.
