Survivors include brothers, Kalcie Lowry, Callender, and Wayne Lowry, Fort Dodge; sisters, Maxine Dorsey and Beverly Peterson, both of Callender, Vivian Hanson, Gowrie, and Kay Nerhus, Badger.
Leone B. Lowry was born in Somers and attended rural schools there, graduating from Callender High School. She then worked at S. Hanson Lumber Company, Callender. She later Dr. T. J. Dorsey, where she was worked employed for several years. In 1947, she married Harry J. Bryson in Fort Dodge. They then lived in Iowa City. They later lived in Washington, D.C., Germany, and Minneapolis. Minnesota. In 1958, they moved back to Fort Dodge. He died in 1986.
She did volunteer work for several years for The Salvation Army and the Blanden Memorial Art Museum. She was a a member of the Fort Dodge Country Club and P.E.O.
