She was also the granddaughter of Michael and Catharina Nied Freeze, as well as John George and Anna Margaret Matthews Valentine. On April 2, 1815, in Pickaway County, Ohio, Elizabeth married Philip Zimmer, son of Frederick Zeimer. They were the parents of 5 children: Eli, Sarah, Elizabeth, Henry and George Zimmer. She passed away in 1846, in Violet Township, Fairfield County, Ohio, and was buried in the now defunct Reformed and Lutheran Churches Cemetery, Canal Winchester, Franklin County, Ohio.
