The funeral of Bernard Banks, 81, 503 N. Main street, retired Wilkes-Barre health officer, will be conducted Tuesday at 2 from the home, with further services in St. Luke's Church by Rev. Warren Adams. Interment will be in Hollenback Cemetery.
Mr. Banks Served as treasurer of the Painters, Decorators and Paperhangers Union Local 41, AFL, for 32 years, and retired from the city health department in August, 1939, after 30 years' services.
He was an elder emeritus and member of St. Luke's Reformed Church, member of Wilkes-Barre lodge 442 Masons, and Junior Mechanics Lodge 282
