Arnold W. Arnesen 1916 - 2007
Bountiful -- On May 12, 2007 our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather was called home by our Heavenly Father. He has always desired to serve a mission for the Lord, now he has that opportunity. Arnold W. Arnesen was born Oct. 16, 1916 to Otto and Zina Arnesen. Arnold was one of eight brothers and sisters, all preceding him in death, except for his younger brother Elmer. Married Gladys Butler on May 29, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a veteran of World War II. Our family is Eric (Donna), Marsha, Roger, and Craig (Stephanie); 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Our father loved the gospel and spent his life serving in many capacities. his greatest calling was a draftsman for the church in the Temple and Special Projects Division. His favorite pastime was playing golf with his friends once a week. he also loved nature and loved to take us as a family camping. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wed., May 16, 2007 at the Bountiful 28th Ward Chapel, 2385 South 200 West. Friends and family may call Tues. evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Wed. morning 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Internment - Bountiful City Cemetery.
