Wilhelm Geiszler was born July 8, 1923 near Gackle, ND, the son of August and Dorothea (Elhard) Geiszler. He attended the local rural school where he received his elementary education and grew to manhood in the vicinity.
He and Hilma Fiechtner were married December 16, 1951 at the St. James Lutheran Church south of Gackle. They made their home south of Gackle where they farmed until 1975. He moved to Edgeley where he worked for Hird Implement until retiring and moving to Jamestown. In 1995 he moved to Oakes where he has continued to reside.
He was a member of the Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Fredonia.
He is survived by his 5 children, Harry (Melinda) Geiszler, Ronald Geiszler, Vernon (Pam) Geiszler, Randy (Laura) Geiszler, Fredonia, ND; Carol Mulske; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one sister, Annetta Rash.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
