Alvina Geiszler was born to August Geiszler and Dorothea Geiszler on June 5, 1914, in Gackle, N.D., where she grew up and attended school.
She married Arthur Ammon May 8, 1938, in Gackle. They farmed near Gackle and in 1945 moved to Dawson, N.D. In 1950, they moved to Jamestown where she worked for the Singer Sewing Co. for 15 years. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Evangeline Ronstad, Pittsburgh, Bernetta Guilhot, in Germany; a brother, Wilhelm, Oakes, N.D.; a sister, Anetta Rasch, Ashley, N.D.; and one grandchild.
