Mr. Gunsallus was the son of Frank and Annabelle (Hoover) Gunsallus and was born at Unionville; Centre County, on December 12, 1882. He was united in marriage with Mary Emma Rowley. He Is survived by his wife and these children: Mrs. Ida Powley, Bellwood; Mrs. Pearl Updike, Tyrone, Mrs. Fred Bradford, Harris Gunsallus, Bellwood; Mrs. Chester Stonebraker, Tyrone; Elmer and Russell Gunsallus, at home; also 15 grandchildren and these brothers: Harry H. Gunsallus, Summit Hill; Arthur J. Gunsallus, Northwood; Toner L. Gunsallus, Mifflinburg; Frank J. Gunsallus, Altoona; George W. Gunsallus, Paradise and John H. Gunsallus, Graziervllle. He was a member of the United Brethren Church. He was employed as a welder by the Pennsylvania Railroad. Altoona Mirror, December 20, 1940.
