¹ Bertha had a child, Helen Josephine Gunsaulus [FAG Memorial # 138845666], who was born in the Blair County Home on 26 Sep 1919 and died on 28 Sep 1919 (Penna. Death Certificate No. 93028). It is doubtful Toner was the father of Helen and this may have been the reason for he and Bertha's divorce. The father is listed as "Unknown" and the father's place of birth as "Greece." The child died at age 2 days, with cause of death as "umbilical hemorrhage" and "syphilis, congenital" as a contributing factor. Little Helen is buried in the County Home Cemetery in Hollidaysburg, PA.
