Robert "Bob" G. Brummett, 84, of Stockwell, IN, died at 2:29 PM Sunday, August 10, 2014 at St Elizabeth Hospital.
He was born March 29, 1930 in Lafayette to the late Wilbur and Alta Brummett. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Jerry Joe Brummett and Wilbur "Junior" Brummett and a sister, Maxine McGlothlin.
On July 20, 1962 he married Edna Cook in Oxford. She survives. Also surviving are a son, Randy (Paula) Brummett; daughters, Sherry Banes, Janet Brummett, Nancy (John) Whicker; daughter, Susan (Roger) Garrett; son, John (Brenda) Brummett; son, Jim (Debi) Brummett and daughter, Christine "Christy" (David) Dean; a sister, Marlene (George) Russell; 25 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
He worked at Ralston Purina (Cargill) for 51 years before retiring in 1998.
