Mrs. Ada Anna Bartelt, 85, Huntingburg, died today in the Northwood Good Samaritan Center at Jasper.
She was born on March 3, 1888, at Huntingburg to Bloomfield and Katherine (Heins) Vandiver. She was the widow of William H. Bartelt who died on Nov. 25, 1951.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Weisman and Mrs. Helen Lindauer; sons, Hugo and Wilford; a sister, Mrs. Matilda Peters; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A son, Elmer, died at the age of 15.
Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg; burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
