William Bartelt, 67, a retired clay mine operator, died in Huntingburg Sunday morning.
Deceased was born in Pike county near Pikeville on December 6, 1883, the son of John and Elizabeth Resenbeck Bartelt.
He was married on July 28, 1910 to Miss Ada Vandiver, who survives.
Surviving besides the wife are daughters, Mrs. Hilbert Weisman and Mrs. Lawrence Cox; sons, Hugo and Wilford; sisters, Miss Lydia Bartelt, Mrs. Fred Klosterman and Mrs. E. H. Law; brothers, George and August; and 13 grandchildren.
Nass and Son Mortuary; burial will be in Fairmount cemetery.
