Sallie Ann Farmer and William "Bill" Carroll Gan were united in marriage by Reverend Peter E Farmer at the home of John Jefferson Farmer,(her father), on 10 Jul 1873 in the Post Oak Church.
To the union of William Carroll Gan and Sallie Ann Farmer there were 10 children born.
Sallie was preceded in death by her father Reverend John J. Farmer and mother Rutha S. French Farmer, brother John M Farmer, and Children, John, William, Henry, Florence, Lewis and Brit.
Sallie was survived by children, Nancy, George, Osey, and Eva, and Husband William Carroll Gan.
Laid to rest along side of her parents and children in The Raleigh Cemetery, located down a country lane, in a farmers field, just outside Dawson Texas.
Some people we meet in our lifetime are in our lives for a moment, some are there for a period, and some are there for a lifetime. Sallie Ann Farmer Gan is in our lives for a life time. Our Great Grandmother.
