LEO FLOYD 'DICK' TAYLOR, 89 of Mt. Erie, IL passed away at 3:15AM; Friday, August 01, 2014 at the Fairfield Memorial Hospital; Fairfield, IL

He was born on Oct. 18, 1924, at Mt. Erie, IL to Claude J. & Blanche (Parsons) Taylor.
He married Lauraine Johnson on Mar. 27, 1948 in Princeton, IL and she preceded him in death on Apr. 11, 1995.

He farmed and raced horses and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Mt. Erie Christian Church and the U.S.T.A.

He is survived by 2 sons Dennis Taylor and his wife Nancy and Rick Taylor and his wife Frankie both of Mt. Erie, IL. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife-Lauraine, 3 sisters Joyce, Theresa & Doris Lee, 4 brothers Glen, Frank 'Jack', Claude Jr. & Verl 'Pop', and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM; Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014 at Hosselton Funeral Home at Cisne with burial to follow in the Scott Cemetery at Mt. Erie, IL. Visitation will be held from 6-8PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Donations may be made to the donor's choice and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
