Sammie Earl Martin age 82 of Auburn, Kentucky passed away Monday July 21, 2014 at the Auburn Health Care.

He was born in Butler County, Kentucky on October 14, 1931 to the late John Luke and Leora Givens Martin.

Sammie retired from Cliffs Farm Service in Bowling Green, a farmer and a long time member of the Cave Springs Baptist Church. He was a Devoted Husband, Loving Father and Loved his family.

He is preceded by a Great Grandchild Sarah Christine Martin, his four Brothers-James, Ellis, Norman and Bill Martin and five Sisters-Willie Mae Lockhart, Virginia Carroll, Edra Dean Dodson, Wilma Carter and Pauline Gregory. He is survived by his:

Wife of 63 years, Roberta Scarbrough Martin;

three sons, Kenneth Martin, and Roger Martin both of Auburn, Timmy Martin of Morgantown;

two daughters, Sherry Montgomery of Shelbyville, Tennessee and Kimberly Harper of Russellville;

two sisters, Sue Alexander of Auburn, and Shirley Gillum of Rockfield
