Leon Peter Wolfe, 67, died yesterday in his Reading R.D. 2, Ontelaunee Township home.
Born in Richmond Township, he was a son of the late James S. and Mary N. (Kieffer) Wolfe. Before retiring in 1962, Wolfe had been employed by the Beryllium Corp.
He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Maidencreek Union Church, Blandon and of Kutztown Lodge, Woodmen of the World, and the Blandon Fire Co.
Preceded in death in 1961 by his wife, Katie (Brossman) Wolfe, he is survived by a son, Adam L., Bechtelsville; two daughters, Anna C., wife of Edward A. Hinz, Reading, and Kathryn R., wife of John Bieler, Laureldale; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild; a sister, Minnie, widow of Earl Gambler, Topton, and two brothers, Isaac, Kutztown R.D., and Sheridan, Fleetwood R.D.
Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Mertz Funeral Home, Laureldale, the Rev. Mark K. Trexler officiating. Burial will be made in Maidencreek Church Cemetery.
