Sheridan S. Wolfe, 71, of 112 S. Richmond St. Fleetwood, died this morning in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where he was a patient since March 13.
Born in Berks County, a son of the late James and Mary (Kieffer) Wolfe, he was employed by the former Levan-Gurkee Hosiery Mills prior to his retirement in 1966.
His wife, Ellen (Kline) Wolfe, died in 1969.
He is survived by three sons: Robert L., with whom he last resided; James S., Bethel, and Donald F., Shoemakersville R.D. 1.
And a daughter, Mary, wife of Stewart Kunkle, Stony Run, and 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also a brother, Isaac, Kutztown R.D.3, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Gambler, Topton.
Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Mae A Stump Funeral Home, Fleetwood, the Rev. Donald C. Simmons officiating. Burial will be made in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown.
