BIRDSALL -- In Oakland, September 8, Elizabeth Birdsall, beloved wife of George Birdsall late of San Fancisco, beloved mother of the late Captain George Birdsall, Walter Buell, William Lewis Birdsall, Mrs. William Dillon and Mrs. J. F. Robertson, and grandmother of Edgar M. Cameron, Mrs. Will Randall, Mrs. H. Walker, George L., Charles J., Mary E., Lucille and Bert Birdsall, a native of Auburn, N.Y., born October 15, 1824.
Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral Tuesday, September 11, at 10 o'clock, from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. J. P. Robertson. 1030 Steiner street. Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Elizabeth was cremated at the Odd Fellows' Cemetery, but her ashes were sent to the Laurel Hill Cemetery in San Francisco. That cemetery was later taken over for development; graves (remains) were moved to other locations or simply demolished.
