From the PEKIN TIMES:

MANITO - Following an extended illness, Mrs. Anna Warner, 69, a resident of the Manito community for the past 60 years, died at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday [February 16, 1955] in Pekin Public hospital.

Born June 30, 1885 in Riepe, Germany, she was a daughter of Everette and Engel Doernath Hinrichs. She came to Manito with her parents when nine years of age. She was married to Henry Warner, who survives.

Other survivors are two sons, George Warner, Varna, Ill., and Everett Warner, Lincoln; one daughter, Christina Tillman, Peoria; one sister, Mrs. Frank Moore, Peoria, Pekin; and 12 grandchildren.

A son, Emil Warner, a sister and three brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul Lutheran church. Burial will be in Meadow Lawn cemetery.
