MANITO - Henry H. Warner, a retired farmer and lifelong resident of Manito community, died at the Pekin Public Hospital at 11 p.m. Tuesday [August 20, 1957], where he had been admitted a few hours earlier.
Mr. Warner was born Sept. 7, 1877 [sic] in the house of the farm where he had lived all during his life, the son of Adam and Friedricka Erxleben Warner.
He was married to Anna Hinrichs Nov. 18, 1905. She died Feb. 16, 1955. Survivors are two sons: George Warner, Varna, and Everett Warner, Lincoln, Ill.; one daughter, Christina Tillman, Peoria; and 12 grandchildren.
One son, five brothers and seven sisters preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the St. Paul's Lutheran church, Manito, with the Rev. Harold J. Schlicker officiating. Burial will be in Meadow Lawn Cemetery.
