STANLEY L. MOORE, 79, of Rt. 1, Clear Spring, died at his home Monday morning. Born in Green Springs Furnace, he was the son of Joseph and Catherine Ward Moore. He was the husband of the late Nora V. Moore.

He had been a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Clear Spring. He was retired from Fairchild Industries and had been a farmer in the Clear Spring area all his life.

He is survived by one son, Hillard Moore, Williamsport; four daughters, Mrs. Anna Kernan, Bethleham, Pa.; Mrs. Phyllis Snyder and Mrs. Betty Kratz, both of Clear Spring; and Mrs. Joyce McKee, Williamsport; one brother, Abram Moore, Clear Spring; three sisters, Mrs. Mazie Shupp and Mrs. Ethel Yeakle, both of Hagerstown; and Mrs. Dorothy Eversole, Clear Spring; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Clear Spring. Burial was in St. Paul's Church Cemetery.
