WILLIAMSPORT, MD - HUBERT M MOORE, 92, of Rt 1 died early Sunday morning at his home.
Born in Clear Spring, he was the son of Joseph S and Catherine Ward Moore. He had farmed the Governor Hamilton Estate Farm north of Hagerstown for 18 years. He was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church on US 40.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Catherine Schmidt, Funkstown; Mrs. Marie Barnes, Hagerstown; and Mrs. Ruth Kendle, Williamsport; on son, J Leroy Moore, Hagerstown; one step-daughter, Mrs. Doris Stone, Funkstown; three sisters, Mazie Shupp, Clear Spring; Mrs. Ethel Yeakle, Hagerstown; Mrs. Dorothy ebersole, Clear Spring; two brothers, Abraham Moore and Stanley Moore, both of Clear Spring; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 pm from the Rest Haven Funeral Home. The Rev Peter Comings will officiate. Burial will be in St Paul's Cemetery.
