Hiram then married Mrs. Emily Lucille (June) Shoe on December 23, 1868, in Livingston County, Missouri. To this union were born: Lovie Rebecca Wooden Tucker, Junietta W "Junie" Wooden Tucker, William Benjamin Wooden, Minerva Ann Wooden Benson & Rosa May Wooden Blakeley.
Hiram ran a saw mill, east of the Oak Hill School House in north Carroll County, Missouri. Sometime between 1880 & 1900, Hiram, Emily, & family relocated to Idaho & then Oregon. They may have travelled with the family of Hiram's brother, Isaac Harrison Wooden, who relocated to Oregon about the same time. Hiram & Emily died just a matter of weeks apart in 1911 in Linn County, Oregon.
