Mrs. Annie Mae Bailey Sherman of LaFayette, AL died Thursday, 21 Dec 2000 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

Funeral services were 4 p.m. Thursday, 21 Dec 2000 at Jeff Jones Funeral Home with Rev Bill Hand and Rev Charles Whitson officiating. Burial followed in the LaFayette City Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Tookie (Jack) Langley and Jackie (Dave) Harding, both of LaFayette, AL; two grandsons, Billy (Carla) Langley, LaFayette, AL and Kim Langley, Auburn, AL; two great-granddaughters, Kelly Langley and Heather Langley, both of LaFayette, AL.

Mrs. Sherman was a member of the First Baptist Church of LaFayette, a member of The Inter Se Club of Wadley, AL; treasurer of the WMU at First Baptist Church for 21 years and served on the Mission in Action at the church for 21 years.

Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette, AL was in charge of arrangements.
