RIDGE GROVE, AL -- Mr. Reuben Al "John" Bailey, 81, of Ridge Grove died Tuesday, 24 Sep 1985 at Chambers County Hospital in LaFayette, AL.
Services are scheduled for 3 p.m. (CST) Thursday, 26 Sep 1985 at Center Baptist Church with Rev Yancy Sanders and Rev Vernon Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bailey is survived by four sons, Harce Thomas Bailey of Lanett, AL, Jack Edward Bailey of LaFayette, AL, Howard Ray Bailey of San Diego, CA and John Herman Bailey of Smyrna, GA; one sister, Mrs. Annie Mae Bailey Sherman of LaFayette, AL; two brothers, George Dewey Bailey of Union Hill, AL and Jesse Dalton Bailey of Riverdale, GA; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bailey was a native of Chambers County, AL. He was retired from Lanett Bleachery and Dye Works after 30 years of service.
Sanders Funeral Home in LaFayette, AL is handling the arrangements.
