Obituary:
Mrs. Hester died Wednesday in a Rusk hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Hester lived in Alto 34 years, moving here from Nacogdoches County. She was Baptist and member of First Baptist Church of Alto.
Survivors include two sons, Roscoe Hester of Alto and Marvin Hester of Elgin; four daughters, Jo Bobby Corn of Winter Haven, Calif., Hazel Brunet of Beaumont, Jonnie Gilcrease of San Augustine, and Tommie Jean Anderson of Alto; one brother, Charlie T. Pullen of Huntsville; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
