Mr. Schoonmaker Dies in Florida
Edgar R. Schoonmaker, 70, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Pompey Center Road, Manlius, died yesterday at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
A native of Fabius, he lived in Manlius 20 years, before moving to Florida in 1958.
He was manager of the Sperry Hutchinson Green Stamp Center, retiring in 1958.
Mr. Schoonmaker was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edith P. Schoonmaker; a son, Sheldon J. Schoonmaker of Liverpool; a brother, Clarence F. Schoonmaker of Fayetteville, and a grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Eaton-Tubbs Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
