Mr. Schoonmaker
Clarence F. Schoonmaker, 73, of 322 Southfield Drive, Fayetteville, died yesterday at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Fabius and resided in the Syracuse area all his life. Mr. Schoonmaker was associated with the food business for 52 years and for the past few years, he had been associated with Florian-Shaffer-Farrar-Bratt-Burke Inc., as a food broker.
He was past president of the Grocers-Manufacturers Association and an honorary member of the Food Broker’s Association of Syracuse.
Mr. Schoonmaker was a member of Konosioni Lodge 950 and a member of the United Commercial Travelers of America.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Frances E. Schoonmaker; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Herbert Loomis officiating.
Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Contributions may be made to the Heart Association of Upstate New York and the American Lung Association.
