BRAMWELL — Alma Mahaffey Anello, 89, of Bramwell, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Cassell's Board and Care in Princeton.

Born on December 6, 1924 in Cliff Yards, West Virginia, She attended public schools in Bramwell and graduated from Bramwell High School and attended Concord College.

She married her lifelong love Donald F. Anello and they made their home in Bramwell where they were devoted to their community and the Bramwell Presbyterian Church. She was the postmaster for the United States Postal Service for many years at the Bramwell Post Office. She enjoyed the Bramwell Presbyterian Women of the Church and her bridge club.

The last member of her family she was preceded In death by her husband, Donald and brothers Mark, Verle and Carlyle and her sister Ruth Mahaffey Gross.

She is survived by her daughter Carrie Anello Camden Ziglar (Toby) of Kennesaw, Georgia, her granddaughter Lisa Camden-Cockerham (Chris) Fredericksburg, Virginia, grandsons Greg Camden of Bluefield, West Virginia and Dylan Camden and his special friend Alee Auton of Charleston, West Virginia and their father Thomas l. Camden and her great-grandchildren Kodi, Isabella and Chase. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life and she loved spending time with them. She is also survived by nieces Polly Mahaffey Goodner of Houston, TX and Knoxville, TN and Melinda Mahaffey Mullins of Statesville, NC.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Dr. Charles F. Ziglar officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at the service time.
