Mrs. Christina Suzanne Beale, 80, who died in the hospital here (Pomeroy, Washington) Thursday, was buried in the Pomeroy Cemetery Saturday with the funeral conducted by Rev. Lloyd Alden of the Methodist church. Mrs. Beale was born Nov. 18, 1875 to Joseph and Suzanne (Seitz) Elsensohn at Leando, Iowa. She was married here June 20,1898 to Matthew Chenowith Beale. She taught school in Garfield County several years. Mr. and Mrs. Beale held many farming interests in Garfield county and all of their married life was spent in the Valentine and Kirby districts. Surviving relatives include five daughters, five sons, a brother, Lawrence Elsensohn, Eugene, Oregon, a half-brother, Horace Mclinden, Palm Springs, Ca., and a sister, Mrs. Mary Wills, Pomeroy.
