Entered into rest Sunday, at 3 a.m., Mrs. Sarah A. Kitchen, in the 88th year of her age, at her home, in Wilmington. Her illness, while of sort duration was one of intense suffering, which she bore with Christian patience. She was the last of her family and born at Brandywine, now Sagers'. She leaves the following children:
Mrs. Alfred Yerkes, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Charles G. Grant, of Wilmington; Mrs. Joseph G. Nichols, of West Chester; Mrs. Jesse H. Adams, of Wilmington, with whom she lived and one son, John Kitchen, Newark, N.J.
She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Wilmington, Delaware. The funeral takes place Tuesday, an announcement elsewhere.
