Raymond Severson, the youngest son of Mrs. Amund Severson, of Moe township, passed away Monday morning at 2 o'clock. About two weeks ago or more, Raymond had the misfortune, while climbing up in the hay loft to put down hay, to slip and fall, striking the manger in such a way that his stomach was injured. In a few days he became violently ill and it was found that gangrene had set in. Everything that medical aid can do was done for him and at times there seemed to be slight improvements in his condition. Raymond was born near Barrett about 17 years ago and resided there until a few years ago when they moved into this community with his parents. His father died in April last year. Raymond had never been very strong and healthy but, these last few years he seemed to gain. He leaves besides his mother, two brothers, John at home and Selmer of Moe, and six sisters, Mrs. Henry Arntson, Mrs. Robert Botner and Mrs. Edwin Olson of Moe, Mrs. Carl Anderson of Granville, N.D., Miss Louise Severson and Mrs. Sorlie of Enderlin, N.D., to mourn his untimely loss and who were all present at his sick bed.
