Mrs. Linder was born December 17, 1853, in Leranger, Norway, and at the time of her death she had reached the age of 74 years, six months and one day. She was married to S. S. Linder in Sweden in October, 1881, and they came to America in 1893 and settled on a farm near Garfield. They lived there until in 1916 when they sold the farm and moved to the village of Garfield where Mr. Linder is employed as a shoemaker in Knudson's store. The following children, with bereaved husband, survive to mourn her passing: Hans, of Alexandria, Caroline (Mrs. Ole Bergner) of LaGrand township; John, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Emma (Mrs. Herman Peterson) Brooten; Helga (Mrs. Robert Jelsing) and Olga (Mrs. Manley Larson) Alexandria. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Rasing, who lives at Princeton, Minnesota. Funeral services are being held today, Thursday afternoon, from the home in Garfield at 1 o'clock and later from the East Moe church, Rev. Bestul officiating. Interment will be made in the church cemetery. The pallbearers are the six sons and sons-in-law.
