She was born the daughter of Burton and Aldine (Kruse) Krumviede on Oct. 12, 1935, in Clinton, Iowa.
She married Emrow Yoost on June 8, 1963, in Chippewa Falls. Emrow and Darline farmed in the town of Anson.
She worked for the Cadott Community School for 28 years, sold Fuller Brush and was a very loving housewife.
Darline loved gardening, flowers, sewing, baking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Emrow of Cadott; daughters, Sue (Ken) Arneson of Cadott, Roxanne Short of Eau Claire and Cindy (Jerry) Hamman of Chippewa Falls; sons, Bill (Julie) Schwennsen of Eleva and Bob (Joan) Schwennsen of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Corey and Nathan Arneson, Emily (Mike) Sutherland, Kim (Ben) Zahasky, Kris, Amanda, Andy and Lisa Schwennsen, Stephanie (Kyle) Polenz, Jack Short, and Amy (Berry) Ellis and Tony (Jessica) Naser; great grandchildren, Carson Sutherland, Serna and Mykal Polenz, Bo, Kelsey and Ashley Naser and Katie Ellis; mother, Aldine Krumviede of Chetek; sisters, Sherry (Bruce) Stephens of Idaho, Joyce (Dallas) Behnke of Cameron and Carol (Richard) Jacobs of Ill.; and brother, Darrel (Sandy) Krumviede of North Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Burton Krumviede; grandson, Mike Short; and brothers, Larry and Dick Krumviede.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, with Rev. Ralph Markquart officiating. Interment will be in Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie. Family and friends may call at Leiser Funeral Home on Monday, Jan. 2, 2006, from 4 to 8 p.m. and also an hour before the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
