Ezra Louie Kunz age 98, died December 29, 1985. Born August 14, 1887 in Bern, Idaho to David and Louise Maria Jakob Kunz. Married Vilda Dustin in the Logan LDS Temple on September 29, 1910. Active member and high priest in the LDS Church, served a mission to Switzerland and served in the Sandy 1st Ward Bishopric. Survivors: wife, Sandy; seven childre, Ivean D.; Herbert L.; Marion E.; Mrs. Lawrenc (Bernice_ Nelson, all Sandy; Everett E., Murray; Mrs. Earl F. (Thekla) Walk, West Valley City; Loyal E., Phoenix, Arizona; 37 grandchildren; 130 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; sister, Iris Buhler, Midvale; half brothers, Morris Kunz, Murray, Utah; Redd Kunz, Bern, Idaho; half sisters, Rebecca Buhler, Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. Walter(Kate) Buhler, St. George, Utah; preceded in death by a son David. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 2, 1986 at 1 p.m. in the Sandy 21st Ward, 8950 South 400 East. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 south State Wednesday 7-9 p.m and Thursday at the church one hour prior to services, Burial at Sandy City Cemetery. Deseret News 12/31.

Ezra Kunz, farmer, dairyman dies at 98:
Ezra Louie Kunz 98, who celebrated his 75th wedding anniversary three months earlier, died Dec. 29, 1985. mr. Kunz and his wife Vilda Dustin Kunz were married Sept. 29, 1910, in the Logan LDS Temple. They drove a horse and buggy from Garden City, Rich County, to Logan for their wedding.
The couple had eight children, 37 grandchildren, 1340 great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Kunz met his wife at the Fielding Academy in Paris, Idaho, after returning from missionary work in Switzerland for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The farmed in several Idaho communities and nebraska before settling in Sandy where Mr. Kunz rised sugar beets and ran a small diry. He traveled to Salt lake City to deliver his milk. Article: Courtesy of Deseret News
